About the banner at the top of each page: This is a photo of the Santa Fe Beach Club, located on Bantayan Island. I took the image as I was approaching the island on board an Island Shipping Ro-Ro. Actually, it wasn't intentional that the Beach Club was in the shot, due to the distance I was from shore. But, I'm glad it was, now. As you can see in the photo, it is located right on the beach and looks very, very nice. However, looks can be quite deceiving.

I would never, ever consider staying at this particular resort, simply because it has several huge fuel storage tanks directly behind it. I'm not talking about down the street, folks. I am talking right on the property, directly behind and adjacent to the resort! Could you imagine the explosions from those tanks, if anything were to ever happen? That resort would be nothing but rubble and debris. To show you what I mean, I have added an image taken from behind the resort, below:
